Thank You
A statement from your pals at How's Your Touch.
This is easily the hardest article that we have written in the 8 years that we have been covering the Scottish women’s game, but unfortunately all good things do have to come to an end and the final whistle is blowing on How’s Your Touch…
It has been an honour to tell the stories and cover the best league in the world for so long. We are immensely proud for all that we have achieved in furthering the SWPL agenda: the first collectable women’s football cards celebrating domestic leagues across the UK, thousands - if not millions - of words covering the SWPL from tactical breakdowns to player tributes and everything in between, hours of podcasting, and (too many) posts on social media.
If anyone reading this feels a desire to start covering the SWPL themselves and needs a steer on how we did things, then feel free to get in touch (we’ll keep an eye on our DMs/emails for a bit after this.
A special thanks to everyone that has worked with us over the years whether it be media people behind the scenes dealing with requests to interview players or staff, university lecturers teaching us about Scotland’s socio-political influence on Sweden’s history, or players who have put on the show to give us something to write about. You all know who you are (hopefully) and if we bump into yous we will certainly be buying you a coffee/pint (depending on time of day).
A specific shoutout to Rob (formerly of the SWPL, if you’re reading this) who got in touch with us right at the beginning, inviting us to formal SWF media events and cup finals. Without him treating us like ‘proper’ media from day one the last 8 years may not have happened.
Thank you all for reading, listening, liking, and sharing our work over the years. We hope you have enjoyed it as much as we have (and if you haven’t, at least you’ll be enjoying this post!).

Sorry to read this guys. Best of luck with your next ventures.
Sorry to see you guys go 😔 Good luck with whatever is next!
